The components of the Cablizer include a base, lid, 2 aperture covers, 14 reusable cable- ties and 8 straps (1 big, 1 medium, 6 small)

The Cablizer has 4 apertures, providing flexibility for entry or exit of the cables. This ensures that even if there were computer accessories located in different areas, the Cablizer would still be able to have an aperture for easy entry or exit of the cables. Based on our research, an average of 2 to 3 apertures will be used. 2 aperture covers are also provided to close up unused apertures.

The lid is secured to the base by the clips on its sides. The Cablizer comes with 2 pieces of Velcro that can be attached onto the outer surface of the base. This enables the product to be stuck onto different surfaces. The use of Velcro facilitates removal from and reattachment to the original position. This greatly aids the re-organization of the cables if new cables are introduced or the user wants to change the setup.

The Cablizer comes with slots of 3 sizes, catering to different sizes of cable. Strong, yet flexible straps (3 sizes) hold the cables within the slots. These straps are height adjustable giving the flexibility of holding longer cables. Ridges have been molded onto the straps to ensure the cables do not slip out.

14 reusable cable ties have been included in the package. These can be used to further secure the cables to the ridges found on the base. Bundling the cables helps generate more space for more cables.

The Cablizer was also designed to have rounded edges to prevent cuts and abrasion. Comprehensive and easy to understand instructions are also provided.
