PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Z-LITE is based on the Cyrix 486 series microprocessors. The standard IDE hard drive size is 200MB. BIOS supports standard IDE hard disk drive up to 500 MB. All models have 4MB of system memory soldered on the main board, and are expandable to 12MB. The LCD panel used is STN color. Standard video memory is 512KB for all models. External video supported includes 1024 x 768 (16 colors), 800 x 600 (256 colors) and 640 x 480 (256 colors).

Features include two Type II PCMCIA slots, 32-bit VESA local-bus video, J-Mouse pointing device, speaker, one serial port, one EPP/ECP enhanced parallel port, external video port, and a PS/2-compatible mouse/keyboard/keypad port.

MS-DOS, Windows, PCMCIA Card and Socket Services, J-Mouse drivers, SVGA video drivers, on-line user's documentation, and CoSession Host remote communications software come preloaded.

Under limited warranty, maintenance to be performed to the major module assembly level utilizing available Zenith Data Systems diagnostics and service information. The Field Replaceable Units (FRU) section of this PMRB lists the replacement parts.

Notes:

3) Full static prevention measures should be taken! Perform all work on a static mat using a wrist strap.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:

Customer responsibility:

Replace back-up batteries every three years.

Service Center responsibility:

Any unit brought in for service should be updated with the latest flash code prior to returning the unit to the owner.
