PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Z-STATION EX is a 64-bit general purpose personal computer system based on the Intel P54C Pentium processor operating at 90 MHz in a ZIF socket. The standard model features 8MB RAM upgradable to 128MB, a 420MB IDE HDD and a 3.5" 1.44MB FDD. The standard model Z-STATION EX uses Cirrus Logic 5434 video subsystem and AMI BIOS with password support. Z-STATION EX Model II differs from the standard model by offering as a base 16MB RAM, a 540MB HDD and an ATI video subsystem. All units have 2 PCI and 3 ISA expansion slots along with a parallel port and two serial ports. The chassis has two additional external 5.25" drive bays. Standard peripherals include a 400 DPI mouse, keyboard and NE-2000 compatible LAN card (installed in slot one of the expansion slots).

MAINTENANCE PLAN:

Under limited warranty, maintenance is performed to the major module assembly level. After warranty, approved ZDS service organizations can perform maintenance as required. The Field Replaceable Units (FRU) section of this PMRB lists the major assemblies. In-warranty authorization is outlined in the Zenith Data Systems Warranty Claims. This procedure requires using an "in-warranty authorization number" obtained by contacting ZDS at 1_800_624_2477. Without this number, parts may not be ordered under warranty and warranty claims are subject to rejection.

APPROVED SERVICE ORGANIZATION:

Commercial Sales: Approved ZDS Service Centers and Field Engineers.
Contract Sales: Refer to applicable contract.

Zenith Data Systems reserves the sole right to determine, direct, and conduct any and all factory-authorized reworks or upgrades, including the choice of service providers, based on quality and cost of provider.
