PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This computer is based on the Intel« P54C Pentium microprocessor intended for the individual professional computer user. The P54C Pentium will support both L1 WB and L2 WB 256KB cache.
All units use industry standard 19mm Hard Disk Drives. Standard memory is 8MB expandable to 40MB.
The user removable/interchangable LCD panel is either a DSTN VGA color or TFT VGA color model. External supported video includes 1024 x 768 (x 256 colors), 800 x 600 (x 256 colors) and 640 x 480 (x 256 colors) with refresh to 72 Hz. Simulscan at LCD panel resolution is available. Local bus SVGA with 1MB DRAM is also available.
Unit complies with VESA standards for BIOS interface, DPMS low power monitor standard and VDIF monitor configuration standard. This computer also provides infrared support for communication with HP laser printers, fax machines, PDAs and other devices supporting the IRDA standard.
Two type II PCMCIA devices or one type III PCMCIA device is supported including ZDS approved PCMCIA LAN adapters. Built-in audio including a built-in microphone and Stereo Audio Input and Output jacks are additional features.
The computers come pre-installed with the latest version of MS-DOS« and Windows«, Windows for Workgroups or Windows 95, MS-Office Integrated (Microsoft PS/2 compatible) Trackball Drivers & PCMCIA Card/Socket Services. Online documentation is also pre-installed. The computers support DOS, Windows, Windows NT, Workplace OS/2 and AIX UNIX.
The Port Replicator has both an Ethernet and PCMCIA option which can either be ordered initially or added at a later date.
